Smile! Central Oregon is committed to providing affordable orthodontic treatment to all; transforming smiles while contributing to the betterment of the entire community. Embarrassment from poor teeth may inhibit one from realizing their potential. Our culture makes judgments about appearance, which place many at a disadvantage due to no fault of their own. Having a beautiful smile adds confidence and self-esteem at any age. While braces transform the smile, volunteering transforms the heart and soul. We truly believe each of us has the power to change the world. You may never know the extent of your contribution, and all of us would like to think the world is a better place because we are here. WHO WE ARE

Dr. juliana panchura, dmd

I've got the greatest job in the world! Having watched my father and uncle enjoy long and fulfilling careers in orthodontics, I went to dental school at the University of Pittsburgh after attending Denison University in Ohio. I headed to UCLA for orthodontic training as well as a Masters in Public Health. Love and orthodontics brought me to Central Oregon in 1988 to join my husband, Dr. Vince Quas. Family tradition carries on with Dr. Cate Quas at Bluefish Dental.

I am privileged to serve as part-time clinical faculty at UCLA. I maintain strong ties to the area through my work at the non-profit Eisner Health where I have been treating kids with cleft lip and palate since 1985.

I have been honored to be chosen as a speaker for many regional, national and international orthodontic meetings.

I love to read, I am a student of Iyengar yoga, and I travel any chance I get. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German.

Dr. vincent quas, DDS

Dr. Quas came to Central Oregon in 1969 when Bend was a one stop-light town of less than 7000. Since then he has brought smiles to thousands of kids and adults over a career spanning 50 years at The Brace Place and now Smile! Central Oregon. A health and fitness fanatic, Dr. Quas shows little sign of slowing down as he shares his passion for perfection in all he undertakes. Dr. Quas, along with wife Dr. Panchura and daughter Dr. Cate Quas recently completed a 2 year advanced Masters Orthodontic Program with the aim of providing the latest in efficient and esthetic orthodontic results. Dr. Quas finds fulfillment in the transformation of not only the smile but the human behind it. He enjoys the coaching that goes along with the technical skill of delivering excellent care. His gentle touch, unique humor and outstanding smiles are why parents bring their children and now the 3rd generation of patients benefit from his extraordinary career.

Our staff is highly trained and experienced to deliver outstanding care. All of our assistants have had orthodontic treatment themselves, and therefore are sensitive and sympathetic to the process. They have a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and are happy to answer any questions regarding your treatment. Their combined experience amounts to over a century! You are in good hands.
